Crossroads Community Church Local Missions
Crossroads Community Church is committed to the Biblical mandate of reaching out to those less fortunate than we are. However, we believe in not only giving to meet the physical needs of a person but, even more importantly, of ministering to the spiritual need.
Crossroads Community Church is actively involved in the following ministries and organizations:
- Hesed House:
PADS® serves as the primary provider of services to homeless individuals at Hesed House. The people of Crossroads contribute food and volunteer by preparing and serving food to the guests, and other tasks as needed. You can sign up to volunteer for this monthly opportunity today. Click Here for a brochure.
- Green Harvest:
Green Harvest Food Pantry exists to provide necessities to those finding themselves in need – especially low-income families, retiree’s and those recently laid off. Crossroads routinely collects food for Green Harvest. Today we are looking for people to coordinate, on one or more Saturdays, the distribution of fresh produce from our community garden in August, September and October.
- Iglesia Jesucristo es la Verdad church in Aurora:
Crossroads has partnered with this Aurora based church with clothing drives, pancake breakfasts and Christmas presents. We are currently seeking volunteers for buying and sorting school supplies and helping organize Thanksgiving baskets.
Crossroads has a dedicated group of volunteer leaders, our Local Missions Team, who want to make it easy for you to get involved…whether on an individual, family or group basis. There are needs in our community that you can help meet!
Should you have any questions regarding our local missions effort, or would like to get involved, call Pastor Bill Spearman, 630.585.7777, x23 or email bspearman@ccc4Christ.org.
